Travel dates

You can book the journey individual the whole year, in winter as well – the travel dates are up to you. The travel appropriate to the itinerary can begin every Sunday (in the summer every Monday) (day 1 = Sunday / Monday).

In the peak season of 2021 – from beginning of July until beginning of September it is necessary to add 1 day in Ulaanbaatar or in the National Park Terelj in Mongolia – or you travel in the other direction (from Beijing to Moscow) and refer then to our tour PEM.

We recommend to plan the journey between the end of May to the middle of September. The Lake Baikal is usually very long icebound (sometimes even in May), so the water stays cold even in the summer. We recommend to book your journey 6 months in advance. The latest possible and recommended time to book is 9 weeks in advance.
